I had never played any of the games before but the quality of the game is amazing. You are able to progress through more of the game with ease. The DS version’s reviews have been generally positive, with Metacritic giving it a metascore of 95 out of 100 after its release in North America. IGN, Gamespot, and G4 all praised the game for its unique and challenging gameplay. At GameSpot, J.C. Maçek III said that the "game's visuals are their best yet, with a new perspective on bubble-bursting that looks better than ever."
